How to Capitalize on Holiday Spending

With the holidays quickly approaching, businesses are beginning to prepare for seasonal shoppers. Because 66% of consumers do their shopping online, it’s important for businesses, especially e-commerce sites, to holiday-proof their web presence. Whether you’re selling products or services, every business should optimize their blog posts, social media updates, and their company website for the holidays. Not only will holiday-infused content and special offers attract more traffic and visibility, they will also increase conversion rates and user interest and engagement.

Many consumers begin their Christmas shopping as early as October; however, the official kick-off days begin on Black Friday (November 23rd) and Cyber Monday (November 26th). According to a study conducted by Lab42, about 69% of consumers plan on participating in Black Friday, and 52% plan on participating on Cyber Monday. During this time, holiday shoppers are actively searching for things to buy and places to buy them from. Make sure your business is the answer they’re looking for.
