Lissa Duty, VP of Community Management at Advice and author of 25 Tips to Twitter Success: Learn How To Market Yourself, Brand and Business Online and co-author of Your LinkedIn Professional Network: How to Connect, discovered a passion for leveraging online social media platforms to brand clients and small businesses, and hasn’t slowed down since that time. She uses her energy and marketing talents to assist her clients in growing their business and network via social networking websites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Lissa can be found speaking around the DFW Metroplex at conferences, local chambers, and groups about leveraging social media and the importance of online branding. She does this in between consulting with private social media coaching clients, providing group social media training classes, and leading a team providing social media maintenance services for Advice Interactive Group.

Lissa is Co-Founder of Rocks Digital, a year-round blogging website whose mission is to provide business owners, marketing, SEO, search and content professionals with the resources, information, and insights to stay on the forefront on digital marketing.

Rocks Digital is the home website to one of the largest digital marketing conferences in Texas, organized by Lissa annually. She founded the conference in 2012, formerly known as the DFW Rocks Social Media Day Conference, which is now re-branded as Rocks Digital.

Currently, Lissa is Assistant Director for BizLink Business Development, Speaking and Networking Association, an active member of the DFW Search Engine Marketing Association, DFW Social Media Marketing Group, Speaker-Coop, and many other local and national organizations. She keeps a full schedule and is not only known locally as a social media authority, but globally.

She has been recognized by She Takes on The World as one of 25 Wonder Women, along with the likes of women such as Arianna Huffington, Forbes Women and Ali Brown. Lissa has had the opportunity to rub elbows with some of the social media elitist, such as Neal Schaffer, Mari Smith, Shelly Kramer, Shama Kabani, Andrea Vahl and many more.
