I began my career in Internet marketing in May of 2009 selling online visibility services to businesses. I quickly realized that I didn’t want to call businesses and sell to them but I did want to be more “technical” in the services provided. I was more interested in “How” businesses were placed on the major search engines and thus I began my quest to learn about Search Engine Optimization. At the time, I knew I needed some formal training so to date, I’ve earned several Master Certificates from the University of San Francisco as well a degree in Internet marketing from Full Sail University. Even though I’m versed in Advanced Social Media, Web Usability and Analytics, my passion is helping local businesses through Local Search. While I was in school, I started my own company in May of 2010 which focused on Local Business listings in the major search engines. From May 2010 to November 2011, I was responsible for the set-up and optimization of over 1,600 local businesses.

In November of 2011, my company was acquired by Advice Interactive Group although I had been working for Advice since February of that year. I have found my calling working with this company. When I first started working with Advice, I was handling the set-up and optimization of Google Local Business listings (now known as Google+ Local Pages). I have now moved into a more prominent role of fulfillment workflow for business locations globally.  I oversee a team of 300 team members and absolutely love it. As of October 5th, 2014 I’ve played a direct part in helping 48,109 local businesses globally get better visibility in the major search engines.

When I’m not “In the Trenches” with search, you can find me practicing Martial Arts, hanging on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, destroying my friends in many video games (except FIFA 2012), or spending time with the people that I love.
